OUR SPONSORS

Pedal for Parkinson’s is powered by the generosity of businesses. If your business would like to sponsor the 2026 event or future initiatives, please contact Sarah at hello@pedalforparkinsons.cc Together, we can drive change for Parkinson's research.

Shake It Up Australia Foundation

Shake It Up Australia is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2011. In partnership with The
Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, they promote and fund Parkinson’s
disease research in Australia aimed at accelerating better treatments and ultimately, a cure. In
2024, Shake It Up was awarded ‘Outstanding Achievement’ in The Australian Charity Awards,
recognising the dedication and measurable impact of the Foundation’s initiatives.
Since its inception, the Foundation has funded 85 groundbreaking research projects across 24
institutes, investing more than $36 million into Australia’s best researchers, working hard to
slow, stop and cure Parkinson’s disease. 100% of every dollar donated to the Foundation is
directed straight to this cutting-edge research in pursuit of their vision: a world without
Parkinson’s.
“We are thrilled to support Pedal for Parkinson’s on its journey, as the event expands nationally
and raises more critical funds for Parkinson’s research”, says Shake It Up Australia CEO, Vicki
Miller. “This partnership reflects the incredible power of community-led efforts in driving research
breakthroughs and bringing us closer to a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

PfP 2026 Major Sponsors

Myfoodlink had this to say

"I did the ride in 2023 after being invited by a friend Leez
Robertson who had done it the year before. At first I just thought it was a great idea but soon realised I had plenty of connections to Parkinson’s: A cousin in the UK, people I’ve worked with in the past, and parents of friends and coworkers. I now have even more connections and reasons to be involved through meeting and riding with the wonderful PfP family. At Myfoodlink we don’t have a huge sponsorship budget so we love to use it in ways that enable things to happen, and PfP is a no brainer! Bikes, buddies (new buddies every year!), and enabling the fund raising for such an important and impactful cause."
